Brisbane luxury lifestyle builder, Cavcorp has beenh recognised with a prestigious National Excellence in Building and Construction Award.

Cavcorp won the Cbus National High Rise Apartment Building Award for their Lucent Gasworks project at the Master Builders National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards in Adelaide on the weekend.

Overlooking Brisbane city, situated in the award-winning Gasworks Precinct, the ‘Lucent’ is a legacy project for Cavcorp owners, the Cavallucci family, who migrated from Italy in the 1960s.

Cavcorp collaborated with award-winning architect Shane Plazibat to create a new destination for Brisbane, set within two acres of landscaped gardens, water features, retail and Australia’s longest rooftop pool.

Together the project team created something truly special, celebrating the best of Brisbane’s tropical lifestyle, a charmed existence steeped in prestige.

The Lucent features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, detox sauna and spa, commercial sized fitness studio and yoga lawn. Arranged over 21 levels it comprises of ground and upper ground retail, 190 apartments and 1600sqm of rooftop amenity.

 “Cavcorp has delivered a landmark project. Lucent Gasworks is ground-breaking as the first mixed use development of its kind in Australia,” Denita Wawn said.

“The builder’s ambitious vision and dedication to create a building dedicated to health and wellness has redefined inner-city living. The exterior of the building features curved concrete balconies, shimmering champagne metallic sliding screens, landscaped balconies and a featured concrete roof,” she said.
