ABC Radio PM reported on the concerns expressed by the Reserve Bank Governor Phil Lowe when he gave evidence to the Federal Parliamentary Inquiry into COVID-19. He said that he is concerned about industries like construction that have been working through the shutdown on a pipeline of work that now is "worked off". 

Denita Wawn, CEO of Master Builders Australia was interviewd by ABC PM warning that the industry is facing a precipitous decline in foward work that if unchecked by stimulus from governments would amonth to a 'valley of death' for industry which would include massive job losses amounting to a third of the industry's workforce.
