Master Builders Australia has released its Federal Election Policy Scorecard today.

“We have graded Labor and the Coalition according to how well their policies address the issues and concerns that matter to our members and their business success,” Denita Wawn, CEO of Master Builders Australia said.

“The scorecard will be distributed to our 32,000 members around the country. It is an evidence based document that has assessed policies of the major parties against Master Builders’ policy agenda,” she said.

“We have campaigned to give our members a strong voice at this election and informing them about the policies that will impact on their businesses is integral to that,” Denita Wawn said.

“Every day, in every community there are builders driving the economic growth that is needed for a stronger economy. Our members provide the most full time jobs in this country, their $220 billion industry is the nation’s second largest and they deserve to be heard,” she said.

“The efforts of our members are essential for a stronger economy, to boost living standards provide the critical infrastructure to and the other things that our community needs. The next Federal Government back the building and construction with policies that will support its success,” Denita Wawn said.
