Master Builders Australia has launched an advertising campaign to boost vaccinations in the building and construction industry.

Denita Wawn, CEO of Master Builders Australia said, “The sooner that everyone is vaccinated the sooner the national plan to reopen the country, which was agreed to by State Premiers and Territory Chief Ministers, to end lockdowns, ease restrictions on work and restore freedom to travel requires can be implemented.”

“The national plan requires community vaccination of 70% and 80% so it is  imperative that everyone eligible for vaccination gets the jab as soon as possible,” she said.

We understand that ending lockdowns and restrictions, allowing building and construction work to be unresticted and getting our lives back is a primary motivator for many in our industry to get vaccinated. That is why our campaign also calls on State Premiers and Chief Ministers to keep their promise to reopen when vaccine rates reach 70% and 80%,” Denita Wawn said.
